Brian Lockwood, a Boulder, Colorado native, began his culinary career at 14 and later completed a three-year apprenticeship through the American Culinary Federation. After moving to San Francisco to train under California cuisine pioneer Gary Danko in his Michelin-starred kitchen, he worked under Chef Thomas Keller at The French Laundry in Yountville as Chef de Partie for two years
In 2010, Lockwood returned to Colorado as Chef de Cuisine at Frasca Food and Wine. He then traveled throughout Europe, cooking in two- and three-star Michelin restaurants, including the renowned El Celler De Can Roca. In 2012, he became a Sous Chef at Eleven Madison Park before moving on to become Chef de Cuisine at NoMad New York, overseeing the dining room, private events, bars, and in-room dining.
In 2016, he returned to Eleven Madison Park, where he was promoted to Chef de Cuisine in 2018. In 2022, Lockwood relocated to Boulder.
After serving as the consulting chef for the Emmy Award-winning TV show The Bear, Lockwood joined Boka Restaurant Group as Chef Partner, overseeing the culinary program for multiple upcoming projects.
