There are a lot of options for financial assistance for you and your family. We have included a few resources and funds here.

NYC Cash Assistance

Eligible families may receive up to 60 months of federally funded cash assistance under the Temporary Aid to Needy Families Program (TANF). Single individuals without children and families who have already received cash assistance for 60 months may receive benefits under the New York State Safety Net Program.

Emergency assistance to those employed in restaurants, bars, and hotels who have fallen on unexpected hardship.

One Fair Wage Emergency Fund

Apply to receive cash assistance. This fund is for workers in the restaurant industry.

Southern Smoke Fund

Funding to those employed by or own restaurants or bars or are employed by a restaurant or bar supplier that are faced unforeseen expenses that cannot or will not be covered by insurance.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families

Provides financial assistance to people that are pregnant or responsible for a child under 19 years old.

CORE

CORE supports food & beverage service employees with children who are experiencing major medical diagnosis of a parent or child, death of a parent or child, or loss of home or employment due to a fire, flood, or other naturally occurring circumstance.
